The caf\u00e9 is open daily from 11 AM to 6 PM, from June 21st until August 9th, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n Stufven\u00e4s has a long and exciting history. In the old brew house located at the front of our garden, we have a summer caf\u00e9 aptly named Caf\u00e9 Brygghuset. <\/p>\n\n In the mid-20th century, several buildings at Stufven\u00e4s burned down due to a lightning strike. Only the main building and the brew house remained. The brew house was used as a utility kitchen. Here, laundry was done, pigs were butchered, “pig potatoes” (potatoes for pig feed) were cooked, and bread was baked in the oven. Since the Brew House at Stufven\u00e4s is older than 1855, it was certainly used for brewing, as its name suggests, and it is highly probable that a still was located here. Home distilling was prohibited in 1855. <\/p>\n\n Today, the brew house offers a pleasant atmosphere with jazzy tunes, both outdoors in the garden and indoors. Here you will find baked goods and delicacies from our skilled kitchen team under our own quality label, Made by Stufven\u00e4s. We have carefully and lovingly selected some of the best products from local producers, which we have marked with Close by Stufven\u00e4s. <\/p>\n\n Our Sm\u00e5land natural coffee roasted at Balck Coffee in Kalmar, Stufven\u00e4s Honey, sweets from Konfektyrfabriken and Sockerbageriet, our own pastries, marmalades, jams, and Grenna ice cream, all presented in a unique setting, make this one of the best destinations of the summer.<\/p>\n\n Welcome to enjoy a fika on-site or take home some treats.
