Friday, November 20 at 6:00 PM, it is finally time for us to invite you to the premiere evening of our traditional Småland Christmas buffet by Kalmarsund. As the winter darkness settles, it is an experience to be greeted by an illuminated Stufvenäs Gästgifveri with a Christmas buffet that honors culinary craftsmanship and tradition. We present a classic Christmas buffet with Småland delicacies in a festively decorated house with lit candles and crackling fireplaces.
Most of the Christmas delicacies that fill our classic Christmas buffet are prepared in our kitchen. All the classic favorites, such as Christmas ham, Jansson’s Temptation, meatballs, herring, and pickled Baltic herring, are “Made by Stufvenäs”.
With both courage and love for the ingredients, our chefs create new flavors from traditional Christmas recipes. Desserts, Christmas sweets, and house-spiced schnapps. All bearing the stamp “Made by Stufvenäs”. We also prefer to purchase as much locally produced food as possible and mark it with “Close by Stufvenäs”.
